What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to run the service: your name and email address (via your sign-in provider), document content you create, and basic usage logs for debugging. We do not collect browsing history, contacts, or any data unrelated to the app.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to provide Tandaan's features — saving your documents, enabling collaboration, and powering the replay timeline. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third party.
Storage & security
Documents are stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) with access controls scoped to each user and their collaborators. Authentication is handled by Clerk. Neither provider has permission to use your content for advertising or model training.
No ads. No tracking. No surveillance.
Tandaan has no advertising business. There are no third-party ad trackers, no behavioral profiling, and no cross-site tracking. The only analytics we may run are aggregate counts (total documents created, etc.) that cannot be linked to you individually.
Your rights
You can export your documents at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us. We will comply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR — contact us to exercise them.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you via the app before the change takes effect. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
